Book Signing with Medina P. Dean, M.Ed.

If you love Kentucky history, backroads, old stories, forgotten places, and learning how this state became what it is today, you are going to LOVE this event.
On Saturday, July 11, we’ll be welcoming Kentucky author Medina P. Dean, M.Ed. to The Kentucky Bookstore from 11 AM to 2 PM for a special signing featuring her Kentucky Historic Travels series.
And these books are BEAUTIFUL. They’re the kind of books you pick up thinking you’ll glance through a few pages, then suddenly you’re standing there twenty minutes later reading about frontier taverns, early settlements, old roads, historic sites, and the people who shaped Kentucky long before any of us were here.
What I love about these books is they make Kentucky history feel alive instead of dusty and boring. You can tell these stories were written by somebody who truly loves this state and wants other people to see the history hiding all around them.
Honestly, books like these are exactly why I started The Kentucky Bookstore in the first place. There are so many talented Kentucky authors creating incredible work that people may never discover unless local bookstores help put them in front of readers.
So if you love Kentucky history, genealogy, road trips, old buildings, hidden stories, or just learning more about the Bluegrass State we all call home, come spend part of your Saturday with us. Meet Medina Dean, get your books signed, and discover a side of Kentucky history you may have never seen before.
